The Gospel is Jesus + nothing
Our sin separates us from God and there’s no way we can get to him. But when there was no way, Jesus Christ made a way. In the Old Testament people would bring their sacrifice to the priest, the priest looked at the sacrifice not the person who committed the Godless act.
Today it’s the same thing. God doesn’t look at us, he looks at the sacrifice, the perfect lamb of God. Jesus was our sacrifice, he died for us, took our place bridging the gap between us and God.
Jesus lived the perfect life, died in our place taking on all our moral imperfections on his shoulders, then on the third day he rose again in victory leaving us not only with. Forgiveness of sins but a hope.
This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ
How do we respond? Romans 10:13: For whoever shall call in the name of the Lord shall be saved
