Why doesn’t God give us miracles today so we’d know he exists?

The Frenchman Philosopher and mathematician Blaine Pascal said “God has given evidence sufficient for those with an open mind and an open heart, but it’s sufficiently vague as not to compel those whose hearts are closed”.

Certainly God could write in the sky “I do exist, repent or else!”. He could write in every atom “made by God”. But God isn’t under any obligation to offer these coercive evidences. The evidence he has given is sufficient for someone who is willing to look at them with an open mind and an open heart. We get into a similar question in the problem of evil. Free-will requires that miracles just don’t happen continuously. See the Article on if Free Will is worth it.
